Position Summary

The primary purpose of this role is to provide professional and quality functional consultancy for Oracle E-Business Suite R12 focusing on Enterprise Assets Management (EAM) and secondary Procure to Pay (P2P) areas. The role is to lead demand and prioritization meeting with both end users and IT. This individual will partner with business and technical team to improve current processes and implement new capabilities to ensure technology is leveraged to the fullest. In addition to also provide day to day support and on the job training and knowledge sharing to the existing team members and end users.

Main Responsibilities

  • Business Consultancy & Demand Management
    • Act as Oracle subject matter expert to assist business users and other IT team in Oracle E-Business Suite.
    • Primary focus on Enterprise Assets Management with secondary focus on Procure to Pay
    • Create test plans, test cases, test scripts and perform functional testing working with end users and Development team.
    • Implementation service to Oracle applications along with its satellite applications ensuring project, enhancement and change are design and perform in the most optimum way resulting in a smooth post implementation.
  • Operation Support
    • Provide day to day applications support which includes troubleshooting, resolving issues, training, documentation and tracking of tickets within the support ticketing queue to ensure bug fixes are completed in the most optimum and timely manner resulting in a smooth operation.
    • Transition into level 3+ operations support upon the introduction of Application Managed Services.
    • Ensure various integrations are supported and maintained.
    • Review and maintain existing configurations/setups and make corrections and changes as needed with adequate documentation.
  • Project management, independently plans, organizes, and oversees resources to achieve the goals and objectives of small or large projects, influences all aspect of project executions. 
  • Work with the Maintenance & Procure to Pay business teams to identify and prioritize process improvements and system opportunities that are not currently being utilized.
  • Act as the liaison between business and technology teams to review business processes, understand requirements, perform fit/gap analysis, evaluate options and make recommendations.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in implementing/supporting Oracle EAM & P2P modules
  • Having >=75% business functional skills and <= 25 technical skills
  • Participation in multiple end-to-end Oracle eAM implementations 
  • Strong skills in the following areas: Maintenance (EAM), Purchasing, iProcurement, Supplier Life Cycle, and Payables  
  • Experience in business process analysis, gap identification and system configuration
  • Good understanding and cross stream knowledge of Oracle Inventory, Process Manufacturing, Order Management and Finance
  • Experience in preparing functional requirements, test case documents and planning and execution of project milestone sessions (CRP, SIT, UAT)
  • Strong consultancy and analytical thinking
  • Proven skills in leadership and relationship building, ability to work effectively within a matrix organization
  • Team player, proven project management experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; German language skills beneficial
  • Ability to translate technical ideas/designs to multiple audiences
  • Proficient to Agile or Scrum methodology
