Position Summary

J.M. Huber is seeking an experienced Advisory Business Systems Analyst to join the Enterprise Platforms and Applications department. This individual will serve as the primary technical lead with technology systems used by J.M. Huber Corporate Organizations and the Huber Family Office (HFO).

The Advisory Business Systems Analyst will partner with JMH Enterprise Applications leadership to set priorities, track project progress, and deliver technical solutions that support the business. This role blends technical expertise with strategic thinking and strong collaboration skills. The analyst will act as a trusted advisor, providing governance, guiding strategic decisions, and helping design improvements to processes and applications within the JMH Enterprise environment.

This role will ensure technological investments align with business goals, drive process enhancements, and maintain a technical roadmap that reflects evolving business needs. Key responsibilities include documenting and prioritizing initiatives, coordinating workstreams, and identifying opportunities to streamline efforts across functions. The role will regularly collaborate with BU Technical Delivery, Infrastructure, Architecture, Business Intelligence, and Security teams to deliver effective solutions.

Success in this position requires building strong relationships with business partners and ensuring accountability for IT solutions and long-term technical planning.

Key Focus Areas:

  • Corporate Finance Systems: Assess and understand current processes and integrations across Corporate Finance applications—including Oracle ERP, OneStream, Basware, Kyriba, and related systems—and optimize the system landscape to improve efficiency and performance.
  • HFO Technology Support and Modernization: Provide support and oversight for the current HFO technology stack, then lead the transition to refreshed and optimized platforms, integrations, and workflows across key functions including Shareholder Management, IT Support, Information Management, Family Administration, and Reporting.
  • ERP Platform Support and Transition: Provide ongoing technical support for the current JMH Corporate Oracle EBS environment ensuring stability and reliability. As the JMH Corporate strategy is defined, actively take part in the potential transition from Oracle EBS to Oracle Fusion.
  • Innovation Enablement: Drive the identification of business and technology needs and collaborate with teams across the Huber IT organization to define opportunities for Innovation.  Aid in implementing new opportunities in Data & Analytics, Artificial Intelligence and Automation that enhance business value.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

  • IT and Business Alignment: Ensure all technology initiatives directly support organizational goals and operational strategies. Translate business needs into practical, scalable, and cost-effective IT solutions.
  • Enterprise Systems Leadership: Serve as the subject matter expert for key business systems, including ERP, financial, and HFO platforms. Ensure system reliability, availability, performance, and lifecycle management.
  • Project and Change Management: Oversee system and application enhancements, ensuring thorough impact analysis, testing, and successful deployment.
  • Process Optimization and Innovation: Promote continuous improvement by leveraging automation, analytics, and emerging technologies to simplify processes and eliminate inefficiencies.
  • Governance, Standards, and Compliance: Drive the development, implementation, and enforcement of policies, procedures, and standards that ensure system integrity, data quality, and regulatory compliance.
  • Vendor and Partner Management: Coordinate and manage relationships with external vendors, technology providers, and internal stakeholders to maintain high service quality and alignment with enterprise objectives.
  • Communication and Training: Provide clear and effective communication across all levels of the organization. Support users through training, documentation, and proactive information sharing.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other responsibilities as directed by the Huber Executive Leadership and IT management teams.

Specialized/Technical Knowledge or Required Skills

Education & Certifications: 

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related business or technical field.
  • 8-12 years’ experience in similar role within a large manufacturing organization

Preferred:

  • Advanced degree or professional certifications in IT management, systems analysis, or related disciplines.
  • Experience with PMI, Six Sigma, Scrum/Agile methods preferred.

 

Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Systems Architect, Technical Manager or similar role within a corporate IT environment.
  • Hands-on experience managing or implementing Oracle EBS, Oracle Fusion, and other enterprise-level applications.
  • Demonstrated success in developing, analyzing, and improving business processes through technology solutions.
  • Technical expertise in SQL, SharePoint, Azure Integration Services, EDI, and enterprise system integrations.
  • Demonstrated experience working in complex, multi-platform enterprise environments, designing, implementing, and supporting mission-critical data integrations and interfaces that enable seamless connectivity across diverse systems.
  • Strong background in cross-functional project management, system integration, and stakeholder collaboration.

  • Skilled in aligning IT solutions with business strategy through automation, process optimization, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Comprehensive understanding of corporate business processes across finance, operations, supply chain, sales, and human resources.
  • Experience managing the design, implementation, and lifecycle of enterprise systems within scope, budget, and compliance constraints.
  • Manage indirect and project-based resources, including consulting and contract personnel, while delivering results on multiple, concurrent projects with competing deadlines and resource demands.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills to maintain alignment across departments and leadership levels.
