Position Summary

The Business Transformation Leader for HEM (Huber Engineered Materials) Finance is a proactive business partner for HEM business responsible for supporting a creation of Huber Business Services (HBS) by driving initiatives to support data and information integrity, business process, technology and organizational transformation. This includes leading collaboration, change management and adoption for successful business transformation initiatives within finance teams across  the Business Units  as well as other functions at SBUs and HEM central teams to ensure financial and accounting information integrity, process streamlining, elimination of non-value added activity and migration to advanced analytics and data mining approaches.  

 

Collaboration with the business finance teams and functional teams is critical to ensure that transformation initiatives generate positive impact and that change is supported with adequate capacity and capability. This role will also be required to successfully build credible partnerships across finance team, business functions and other stakeholders to achieve intended value of strategic initiatives. The leader will report to the CFO of HEM.
 

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversee and organize business transformation project work within the context of cross functional projects
  • Supporting initiatives from finance and engage as appropriate with other teams including operations, supply chain, administration and IT teams both at the Business Units and Functional levels.
  • Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement, productivity and innovation that values learning and a commitment to quality.
  • Support building the capacity of staff engaged in initiatives at the Business Units and Functions to adopt and realize change.
  • Assign and maintain accountabilities, establish clear and mutually agreed expectations, set objectives, establish priorities, and monitor and evaluate results.
  • As a member of the HEM Finance Leadership Team, this position should also act as a strategic business partner to the CFO of HEM. 
  • Participate in various projects supporting long term strategies, growth plans and own the delivery and execution of investment and resourcing decisions.
  • Successfully implement Oracle Analytics and EPM Project. 
  • Participate in acquisitions as appropriate.
  • Lead or support change initiatives impacting the Finance Function and / or Business Units
  • Support the development, enhancement and implementation of systems that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the finance and function and the company.
  • Provide financial advice and knowledge to others inside and outside of the financial discipline.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Specialized/Technical Knowledge or Required Skills

  • Master’s degree in accounting, Finance and/or Business Administration (MBA preferred)
  • Minimum of 10+ years of related experience in finance leadership roles with increasing responsibilities in a matrix driven organization
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization and with staff at remote locations essential.
  • Project management skills and an experience of implementation of Oracle Analytics Cloud systems would be a plus. 
  • Extensive experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative, and matrixed environment
  • Team player and people developer – demonstrated abilities and examples of building strong teams
