Position Summary

J.M. Huber Corporation offers a paid internship program in the Atlanta headquarters to provide undergraduate students with opportunities to discover the manufacturing industry, gain real-world and cross-functional experience, and develop professional skills and network. Huber Engineered Materials (HEM) will be hosting an intern in the accounting department this summer to contribute to month-end and quarter-end activities related to accounting and finance. This position will report directly to the Assistant Controller.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to 

  • Assist Staff & Senior Accountants  

  • Assist with month-end close including, preparation/entry of journal entries and review of balance sheet accounts  

  • Assist with capital spending reports and analysis  

  • Assist team with various special projects/ ad hoc projects 

Preferred Education/Experience

  • Currently pursuing a bachelors or masters degree in or related to Finance, Accounting, and/or Business 

Working Conditions

  • Available to work 40 hours during the 10 week summer program (Focal Dates June 6 - August 12) 

  • Hybrid work arrangements in corporate office 2-4 days per week
