Principal Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversee the business unit’s FP&A function, including participation in the production of annual budgets, monthly forecasts, financial flash reporting, analysis of the actuals vs. plan, and alike.
  • Evolve our planning models, long-term forecasting and reporting
  • Partner with teams in Accounting, Business Intelligence and Software Development to create an automated data flow between accounting, BI and planning & forecasting. Focus on developing repeatable methodologies that continuously streamline existing processes to ensure best quality outcomes.
  • Perform detailed variance analysis of key metrics, cost drivers and other business KPIs. Support decision making by identifying necessary actionable steps in response to variances.
  • Develop and maintain relevant recurring reporting to support management accountability.
  • Design dashboards, scorecards and meaningful graphical presentation of business results to provide insights and financial transparency to business leaders, ultimately fostering better informed decisions.
  • Ad-hoc, roll up your sleeves projects that might be at a different scope or level than your role.

Experience, Education, and Required Skills

  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in finance or equivalent discipline.
  • 5+ years of progressive finance experience (preferably in a manufacturing company) paired with thorough accounting knowledge.
  • Data driven mindset and excellent analytics and modeling skills with the ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to gain trust from people around you..
  • Self-starter attitude, ability and desire to be hands-on in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player and a fast learner, who works effectively in a cross-functional, global environment.
  • Extremely proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Understanding of financial software integrations.
