Position Summary
The Global Process Owner (GPO) – Commercial & Sales is a critical leadership role in the global ERP implementation, ensuring that commercial and sales processes are standardized, optimized, and effectively implemented across all business units. This role requires deep expertise in commercial and sales operations within a manufacturing environment, combined with a strong understanding of ERP.
- Extensive experience in Sales & Commercial operations within a manufacturing company, including pricing strategies, customer relationship management, and sales performance management.
- Ability to align with sales and commercial processes from across HAM, HAS, and HSM with overall business objectives and ERP strategy.
- Deep understanding of Order-to-Cash (O2C), CRM, pricing models, customer engagement, contracts, and sales performance management.
- Experience leading business transformation efforts, driving process change, and managing stakeholder expectations across diverse global teams.
- Ability to work with multiple functions, including IT, finance, supply chain, and regional business units.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Strong ability to engage and align senior leadership, business users, and technical teams.
- Ability to manage complex global initiatives and ensure alignment with program timelines and goals.
- Knowledge of ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and related CRM and CPQ tools.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
- Define end-to-end Commercial & Sales processes in conjunction with “best practice” and the systems integrator within the global ERP framework.
- Ensure standardization of core business processes across regions while accommodating necessary localization.
- Drive continuous improvement and alignment with industry best practices.
- Partner with IT and system integrators to ensure successful ERP design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
- Ensure business requirements are effectively translated into ERP functionality.
- Define and enforce data governance, reporting, and master data management in conjunction with Master Data Owner for commercial processes.
- Act as a key advocate for change, working with regional teams to facilitate adoption of new processes.
- Develop training, documentation, and communication strategies for end-user adoption.
- Address resistance to change and work with business leaders to drive engagement.
- Define key KPIs and metrics to measure the effectiveness of commercial processes post-implementation.
- Work with business teams to identify areas for continuous improvement and enhancement.
- Leverage feedback loops to refine processes and optimize system capabilities.
- Engage with senior business leaders, sales teams, finance, and IT to align commercial strategies with ERP capabilities.
- Collaborate with other Global Process Owners (GPOs) across supply chain, finance, and operations to ensure integrated end-to-end processes.
- Serve as the key point of contact for commercial and sales-related process decisions.
Specialized/Technical Knowledge or Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, supply chain, IT, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in commercial and sales process management within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience in ERP implementation (SAP, Oracle, or other major platforms) with a focus on O2C and CRM.
- Strong experience in business transformation, change management, and process reengineering.
- Global experience working with diverse teams across multiple regions.

In addition to base compensation, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and profit-sharing payout.
