Position Summary

Execute distribution management strategy, manage inside sales accounts & global commercial excellence initiatives to achieve revenue targets. Leveraging strong leadership and team management skills to motivate and support the global commercial team towards success. This role will be a key player in shaping the future of our business by driving global commercial excellence.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage distribution channels in North America, oversee contract management, generate and manage leads and Quarterly Distributor performance dashboard for all 3 regions.
  • Lead inside sales in the Americas region and Global commercial excellence 
  • Manage inside sales for transactional accounts, provide commercial reporting,
  • Drive global commercial excellence in processes, policies, lead management, sample management, sales & other reporting and effective PriceFX price tool usage.
  • Maximize efficiency in sales operations and drive significant sales growth by promoting the adoption of AI tools within the regional sales team.
  • Price lists: ensure regional price lists availability and accuracy, update as needed
  • Salesforce: develop, enhance and leverage Salesforce within Global Commercial Team, provide training to regional Sales Teams
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Develop and implement distribution strategies to maximize market penetration and sales growth in the Americas region.
  • Manage relationships with distributors to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Monitor distributor performance and provide guidance to improve sales effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Oversee the negotiation, execution, and management of sales contracts distributors.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions and address any issues or disputes that arise.
  • Maintain accurate records of all contractual agreements and related documentation.
  • Develop and execute strategies for generating new business leads and opportunities.
  • Manage the lead qualification process to ensure high-quality prospects are prioritized for follow-up.
  • Track and analyze lead conversion rates to continually improve lead management processes.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management, detailing performance metrics and progress against targets.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on commercial reporting outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and uphold commercial excellence initiative.

Specialized/Technical Knowledge or Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in sales management, preferably within the advanced materials or related industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Possess strong self-awareness, self-regulation, motivation, empathy, and social skills to foster a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and provide strategic insights.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.

U.S. Market-Based Salary Range

Inside Sales & Distribution Manager, NA/Global Commercial Excellence Manager

[$104,300.00 - $135,400.00]

 

In addition to base compensation, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and profit-sharing payout.
