As a key member of the People & Culture team, you will partner closely with HR, Finance, Payroll, external vendors, and business leaders to develop benefit strategies that align with Huber's values and business objectives. You will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence, leading vendor relationships, ensuring regulatory compliance, and identifying opportunities to enhance our global benefits portfolio.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Responsible for overall design, implementation, communication, and administration of the organization's benefits programs, including retirement and health & welfare (medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D, supplemental life, STD, LTD, FSA/HSA, voluntary benefits, wellness, 401(k) savings plans, and more)
- Evaluate best practices, market competitiveness and employer/employee value against business priorities and values
- Partner closely with Consultant/Broker on benefits strategies and cost implications including annual renewals and RFPs
- Lead the domestic annual open enrollment process by recommending program changes and gaining business level and leadership approval and ensuring the enrollment system functions as expected
- Develop and maintain effective communication strategies and ensure all benefit programs are fully understood and appropriately valued by employees
- Build collaborative relationships with Global business teams to share market benchmarking and providing benefit enhancement surveying every 2-3 years
- Oversee the management of our benefits vendor relationships, consultant relationships and contracts.
- Partner with local HR Representatives, Managers and Business Partners, Payroll, IT, and Legal teams as appropriate on administration and implementation of new benefit programs.
- Provide data analytics for visibility to leadership and HR business partners on the value, utilization and costs of programs offered.
- Proactively and effectively manage benefits vendor relationships and ensure performance and quality expectations are met, challenging the status quo.
- Support M&A HR activities for any due diligence and/or integration activities as needed.
- Provide strategic and administrative support for union negotiations.
- Serve as benefits subject matter expert to HR business partners, senior leadership, and all levels of management.
- Act as escalation point with vendors to assist with employee issues and drive to resolution.
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers while building strong business relationships.
- Manage/mentor the Benefits Analyst role and additional members of the benefits team.
Education, Experience, and Required Skills
Education & Certifications
Required:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree
Preferred:
- Master’s degree or MBA
Experience
Required:
- 7+ years of progressive experience in Benefits
- Demonstrates basic knowledge of ERISA, employee benefit programs including 401 (k) retirement savings, flexible benefit programs, etc.
- Understanding of HR and Benefits processes, data, and systems including eligibility and enrollment rules and benefit procedures.

- Detail oriented, organized, and can manage multiple assignments successfully in a fast-paced environment

- Confidentially manages highly sensitive information
- Demonstrate ability to partner and effectively communicate with senior leadership
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, with high proficiency in Microsoft Excel (highly critical)
