Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Summer Product Management & Marketing Intern to join our team in the agriculture chemicals industry. As an intern, you will work closely with the product management and marketing teams, supporting key initiatives that drive our product development and go-to-market strategies. This internship will offer hands-on experience in product launch planning, product portfolio analysis, competitive analysis, and market research within a fast-paced and innovative industry.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist in Product Development and Positioning: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, marketing, and sales, to support the product development process. Ensure that products meet customer needs and are effectively positioned in the market.
- Support Product Launch Plans: Help develop and implement product launch strategies, including project roadmaps, marketing materials, communication plans for new product introductions.
- Market & Portfolio Analysis
- Pricing analysis: Conduct competitive pricing analysis for various product lines.
- Trend analysis: Provide insights and recommendations based on market trends. Identify emerging trends, technologies, and regulatory changes that could impact product strategy and marketing.
- Data analysis: Analyze sales data and market performance to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Presentation and Reporting: Prepare and present findings from research and analysis to senior management, contributing to strategic decision-making.
Specialized/Technical Knowledge or Required Skills
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Agriculture, or a related field. MBA candidates preferred.
- Strong analytical and research skills, with a passion for understanding market dynamics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Software proficiency in Microsoft Suite; Adva; familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Oracle Analytics Cloud) is a plus.
- Interest in the agricultural chemicals industry or related sectors is preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Work in a shared office space
- May require some travel.
- Available to work 40 hours/week during the 10-week summer program.
