Position Summary

The primary purpose of this role is to provide professional and quality business and functional consultancy focus on both inbound and outbound Logistics and Trade Management/Compliance within Oracle E-Business Suite R12 and Oracle Fusion ERP.  Participate in demand and prioritization meetings with both end users and IT.  This individual will partner with business and technical teams to improve current processes, to implement new functionality to ensure the technology is leveraged to the fullest, leading the subject area during deployment of the modules.  Focus is global. The role is also to provide day to day support, on the job training, and knowledge sharing to the existing team members and end users. 

This position is responsible for maintaining the application and integration of business processes to support the functional area(s) assigned of Logistics and Trade Management/Compliance.  Active participation during all required development efforts is a key dimension of the job at Huber Engineered Materials.  This includes the design, deployment and ultimately the support once deployed. Role will provide first level support and trouble-shooting capabilities for users leveraging Huber Engineered Materials applications.  This includes support of integration points and related Oracle ERP integration of modules and interfaces to other legacy or cloud systems.

To provide the coordination and proper integration of the business processes involved in the functional areas.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

  • Business requirements gathering.
  • Integration of Logistics & Trade Management/Compliance business processes, practices, data structures into Oracle EBS and Fusion ERP designs, and/or Oracle ERP data rules.
  • Assist in developing Oracle or cloud-based Logistics & Trade Management/Compliance technology designs to support the requirements, configuring, prototyping and testing - eg. inbound and outbound freight, across multiple modes (truck, rail, sea & air).
  • Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) reports and queries development.
  • Oracle Global Trade Management (GTM) reports and queries development.
  • Proficient with Order to Cash & Procure to Pay processes.
  • Support and collaborate on integration to ERP and Other Satellite Applications (including 3PL’s and EDI).
  • Assist in preparation of complete, standard systems documentation and user operating procedures.  Ensure processes are standardized globally as much as possible across Sub Business Units.
  • Identification of, and assistance with development of any process modifications required to fill gaps and of interfaces to cloud-based / on-premises third-party applications.
  • Data load and cutover planning and execution, and post-cutover support.
  • Development of Logistics design documentation. Coordinate and administer training on functionality to end-users in the Logistics function. 
  • Develop relationship with outsourced partner(s) and external consultants (including Application Managed Support) that are conducive to efficient and effective technology support throughout the business.
  • Provide integrated solutions to meet end user needs.
  • Ensure the continuing effectiveness of in-place systems through appropriate enhancements, testing and modification.
  • Oversee/do the training of user personnel in new or modified systems.

Specialized/Technical Knowledge or Required Skills

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Business Management related.
  • 6+ years in ERP or major systems experience.
  • Deep knowledge and experience in Oracle Transportation Management (OTM), Oracle Global Trade Management (GTM) tools, Oracle Warehouse Management (WMS).
  • Proficiency with Order to Cash & Procure to Pay domains.
  • Proficiency with Data Models & Query Languages.
  • Project methodologies practices and tools (eg. Jira).
  • Oracle EBS/Fusion or other major ERP functional knowledge, configuration, hierarchy, integration points, security knowledge, required.
  • Experience with business process design in any ERP platform (Oracle strongly preferred).
  • Experience troubleshooting and resolving process issues in ERP systems.
  • Knowledge in Logistics & Trade Management/Compliance tools: OTM, GTM, Oracle WMS, 3PL integrations, Order Management, Shipping, Procurement and Integration, etc.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills, including ability to adapt to a dynamic environment and manage multiple projects.
  • Proven proactive communication skills and able to lead key meetings across all levels in the organization.

Any offered salary is determined based on relevant factors such as an applicant's skills, performance, job responsibilities, prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications and market considerations.

 

U.S. Market-Based Salary Range

Sr. IT Analyst - Logistics

[$130,000.00 - $150,000.00]

 

In addition to base compensation, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and profit-sharing payout.
