Position Summary

Provide technical leadership for the use of Information Technology and Services within the manufacturing facility and the business sector to meet business objectives.  Assist users in the application of systems for the purpose of analyzing business data.  Maintain existing systems and develop new systems to meet functional/user area needs.  Independently develop and execute small projects; act as technical lead on teams involved in the development of medium size/complex projects. 

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Establish/maintain effective communications throughout the manufacturing facility and the sector.   

  1. Monitor site LAN(s)/WAN, servers and systems and maintain site level compliance metrics.   

  1. Support the process control engineering department in all operations and projects.   

  1. Perform trouble-shooting, identify root cause and provide resolution. 

  1. Support user provisioning, de-provisioning, maintenance and ITIL processes in Service Now ITSM.  

Principle Duties and Responsibilities Continued

  1. Maintain site Video Management System in accordance with relevant policies.  

  1. Maintain accurate and up to date network drawings and configuration.  

  1. Manage and administer DR and backup systems to maintain stated SLA support levels

Specialized/Technical Knowledge or Required Skills

AS or BS in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, 5 years technical experience.  

PC (hardware and software) troubleshooting and software installations. 

Experience managing/troubleshooting networks (preferably Cisco). 

Experience with Microsoft AD, ESX VMware, Citrix
