Position Summary
This position reports to the Senior Director of Brand Management and plays a key role in utilizing data analytics and providing business recommendations to advance marketing and sales initiatives, providing you the opportunity to gain business knowledge while directly impacting results. You will support decision-making by assessing financial implications, making recommendations, and following through with written and verbal presentations to key stakeholders, which may include senior leadership. You will help the organization leverage Power BI and other tools to develop insights and drive process automation, and you will coordinate closely with internal teams to meet business needs, including IT, finance, sales, research, and product management. Your work product will span a wide variety of subjects, including price optimization, rebate design, profitability analytics, demand forecasting, and business dashboards. You will also be involved in analysis to support strategic initiatives such as market sizing, new product development, and new business development.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities
- Design & build dashboards supporting the brand teams to enhance the visibility of performance and highlight areas of strength/opportunity
- Analyze customer, product, and mill profitability and identify and drive opportunities for optimization in a constrained and unconstrained production environment
- Collaborate with the HEW Research & Insights team to analyze qualitative and quantitative market research to develop customer insights supporting key projects/initiatives
- Provide analytic support for strategic projects, including research, financial modeling, and presentation of findings and recommendations
- For projects that involve financial analysis, serve as the subject matter expert for the product team and work closely with the finance team to develop insights
- Identify and lead opportunities to improve process efficiency within product management, leveraging data analysis and visualization tools for tasks like price optimization, marketing ROI, market sizing, demand forecasting, business dashboards, and inventory management
- Coordinate and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality insights
- Support brand leadership in the creation of reports and presentations to communicate insights and trends to various levels of leadership, including the board of directors
Specialized/Technical Knowledge or Required Skills
- A bachelor’s degree (BS) in a quantitative discipline
- MBA preferred, or equivalent combination of relevant experience and demonstrated expertise
- 5+ years of relevant career experience
- Experience working in a cross-functional environment to achieve strategic objectives
- Intermediate O365 - Excel for business modeling, Executive-level presentations in PowerPoint
- Data visualization tools (for example, Power BI)
- Data analysis (statistics, cost/benefit, scenario, etc.)
