Position Summary
Natrium manufactures sodium bicarbonate for food and pharmaceutical use. The lab chemist intern will perform analytical testing to develop and validate methods which will be used for testing of raw materials and finished products at Natrium’s sodium bicarbonate manufacturing site.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
Perform experiments as part of method validation project. Complete written report summarizing results.
Specialized/Technical Knowledge or Required Skills
Experience with Microsoft word / Excel (graphing). Bench (wet) chemistry and analytical lab skills.
Special projects: Method validation for in-house methods used by Natrium to test sodium bicarbonate
Physical Requirements
Work in a shared office space and shared lab space;
Available to work 40 hours during the 10-week summer program.
