Are you passionate about playing a central role in the environmental field at the world's largest pectin factory? Do you want to help ensure that we continuously reduce our environmental footprint? Then this is an exciting opportunity to step into meaningful work as CP Kelco's new Environmental Specialist.

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Environmental Specialist for our production site in Lille Skensved, with expertise in environmental legislation, environmental permits, responsible resource consumption, and waste management.

Your daily work will be diverse and challenging, where you contribute to ensuring a responsible environmental footprint by working proactively to prevent accidents and helping CP Kelco comply with laws and standards. As an Environmental Specialist, you will play an important role in ensuring progress, review, and compliance with the company's environmental approvals, as well as continuous improvements regarding the sites sustainability profile (SDG/ESG).

You will be part of our local QEHS+S team of 8 people, where there is a close collaboration across disciplines. Here, you will work alongside approximately 350 colleagues in various departments such as production, the local waste water treatment plant and power plant, warehouse, maintenance, laboratories, projects, and innovation.



Environmental applications related to new or changes in process and technical facilities.

•    Waste management, including by-products, correct and safe handling, transportation, treatment, disposal, upcycling, and recycling.
•    Chemical legislation, including ECO-online, SDS, and risk assessments.
•    Maintenance and development of EHS&S management systems including ISO 14001, and energy management.
•    Analysis of incidents and risk assessments.
•    Reporting environmental data internally and to external authorities.
•    Participating in local sustainability efforts
•    Keeping up to date with new legislation and ensuring implementation.
•    Participation in internal and external networks and audits.



•    Several years of relevant professional experience with environmental work, preferably from a production company or an authority.
•    Good knowledge of environmental legislation and communication with authorities.
•    Experience with environmental applications, including discharge permits.
•    It is an advantage if you have experience with IT reporting systems and EHS management systems.
•    Fluent in Danish and English.
•    Relevant scientific background, such as a Master's degree in biology, environmental or chemical engineering.
