Become our new Utility Process Engineer

Are you passionate about environmental optimization and technical challenges? Do you have experience in wastewater treatment and a desire to make an impact in a global company focused on sustainability and innovation? If so, you may be the Utility Process Engineer we're looking for.

You will join an international market leader in nature-based ingredients, working daily to deliver sustainable solutions to customers worldwide. With a constant focus on minimizing our environmental footprint, our utility department plays a central role in ensuring that our production is as efficient and environmentally friendly as possible.

About the Role:

As a Utility Process Engineer with us, you will be responsible for the operation and optimization of our treatment facilities and water supply systems. You’ll work closely with both the production department and process development team to ensure compliance with strict environmental standards while maintaining high production efficiency. You’ll play a key role in continually improving our capacity and resource usage, helping us become even more sustainable.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Optimize our wastewater treatment processes—ensuring compliance with discharge quality requirements and environmental standards (ISO, MMSR).
  • Ensure stable operation of the treatment facility and adapt operations to production schedules.
  • Develop wastewater analyses and continuously monitor water quality, energy, and chemical consumption.
  • Participate in projects—contributing to exciting improvement initiatives across departments.
  • Drive environmental improvements and cost reductions—you’ll have the freedom to identify optimization opportunities and lead their implementation.
  • Lead change initiatives in close collaboration with our process development department—your ideas are welcome!

Who are you?

We imagine that you have a background as a chemical engineer, environmental technician, or similar, with experience in industrial wastewater facility operation. You have a natural interest in environmental optimization and enjoy taking responsibility for both technical solutions and human relations.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is technically skilled and can use practical sense to find smart solutions to complex problems.
  • Is a team player who collaborates well across disciplines.
  • Is detail-oriented yet able to keep an overview in a busy workday.
  • Is enthusiastic, motivated, and thrives with hands-on work.
  • Has the ability to think creatively and challenge norms to drive innovation.

We Offer:

  • An exciting role in a sustainability-focused company with global reach.
  • Personal and professional growth—we believe in giving our employees responsibility and room to grow.
  • A dynamic workday where your skills are put to use, and your ideas are valued.
  • The opportunity to work in a company that places the environment and future solutions at the heart of its work.
