Position Summary

Based in Atlanta, the Director of Sales, Asia-Pacific leads a team of four sales, business development and sales engineering professionals across Taiwan, China and Australia with a clear mandate: win new business and continue expanding AMI’s presence across the region beyond China and Taiwan. The Director sets the regional growth strategy, builds and coaches a team that consistently opens new customers, applications and markets, and holds each team member accountable for a disciplined, well-qualified new-business pipeline, while protecting and growing the existing base in core kaolin and attapulgite products. The Director owns market data and intelligence for the region, building a fact-based view of customers, competitors, pricing and demand that determines where the team prospects, how we price and how we win. The role partners closely with Product Management, Technical Service, Quality, Operations, the Executive Team and key external partners to turn opportunities into profitable, repeatable sales.
