Position Summary

This position will report to the Buyer and the pay range starts at $55,000 annually. The schedule will be Monday through Friday 9a-5p.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensures that all incoming shipments (to include unloading freight deliveries) for parts, materials, supplies, from vendors/suppliers are properly documented and stamped received.  To include checking for damages, shortages and/or overages, barcoding items and restocking shelves.
  • Receives packing slip/paperwork into Oracle inventory.
  • Maintains stock levels of inventory items, by performing weekly walk arounds.
  • Assists personnel in identifying and retrieving parts from storeroom.
  • Scans out any items written down on check out logs daily
  • Trains personnel on how to use the Scanner and issue items out of storeroom.
  • Performs regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.  To be completed at least once a year
  • Print/relabels storeroom part identifications as needed on new and current stocked parts.
  • Contacts suppliers regarding repairable parts, receives/arranges RMA’s and/or pickups and tracks status. Assists in strapping down and or packaging parts for outbound shipments.
  • Assists Purchasing on hold report.
  • Coordinates with Maintenance on desired (minimum) inventory levels are maintained and/or adjusted as needed.
  • Help maintain and keep up-to-date contractor certifications and COI’s.
  • Gathers information needed to setup new stock item.
  • Maintains house cleaning duties to include, sweeping and dumping trash bin outside.
  • Makes pickups and deliveries as necessary
  • Prints work orders for maintenance as needed
  • FUEL LOG – pull sheets by the fuel tank weekly & perform data entry on excel spreadsheet
  • Other duties as assigned

Specialized/Technical Knowledge or Required Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of two years manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret operational, technical, logistical data; including ISO documents.
  • Strong Interpersonal skills
  • Ability to operate forklift.
  • Strong Computer Aptitude
  • Ability to effectively use current computer programs; for example, Microsoft Applications, Oracle.

  • Work primarily inside in a warehouse environment; however, outside processes will expose employee to ambient conditions. Plant environment will expose employee to heat, cold, dirt/dust, noise (requiring hearing protection in indicated areas), wet (sometimes rain), and other ambient conditions. PPE requirements include hard hat, safety glasses, and steel toed shoes. Ear plugs and gloves are required in posted areas of the facility.
  • Walking, climbing, bending, reaching and lifting.
  • Access to elevated locations by ladders and stairs as needed.
  • May be required to work extended hours.
