Job Summary

 

CP Kelco Matão is looking for an Agronomist Engineer

 

You will ensure plant operation in compliance with regulatory bodies (MAPA and CETESB).
Develop and guarantee commercialization of co-products in accordance with regulatory agencies (MAPA).
Management of costs, volume and composition of effluent streams generated by Citrus fiber and Dry peel plants.

 

Responsibilities

 

•    Send environmental reports on the generation and disposal of effluents in accordance with standard P4-002 to CETESB.
•    Send monthly and annual production and commercialization reports of By-products to MAPA.
•    Develop new alternatives for using effluents such as By-products.
•    Manage and create mechanisms that aim to reduce the volume of water consumption/effluent generation at the plant.
•    Manage contracts with service providers for: environmental consultancy, effluent application, laboratory analyses, technical-scientific tests for the development of new co-products/capture of value with products on the market.
•    Global report on sustainability data from the Matão plant (consumption of steam, water, electricity, etc.)
•    Support in strategic planning in the area of sustainability and co-products at the Matão plant.
•    Carry out work in accordance with internally approved policies, procedures, work instructions, respecting and applying the requirements of the SGQSA (quality and food safety management system) and also the health, safety, environment and sustainability standards adopted by the company.
•    Follow the safety and environmental standards (HSMS) adopted by the company.
•    Follow the procedures and work instructions approved by the Board and SGQSA.
•    Responsibility and autonomy to report problems related to EHS&S;
•    Must carry out work in accordance with internally approved policies, procedures, work instructions, respecting and applying the requirements of the SGQSA (quality and food safety management system) and also the health, safety, environment and sustainability standards adopted for the company.
•    Develop fertigation management and commercialization of FERPEK, NP Fert, Molpec & Molfer for Matão plant.
•    Promote adequate integration between industry and field so that the effluent generated from washing raw materials is correctly disposed of.
•    Coordinate the company's sustainability to ensure environmental footprint and cost reduction.
•    Conduct strategies aimed at the agronomic use of waste generated by the company.
•    Ensure study, analysis, legal compliance for possible new Byproducts.

 

Requirements

 

•    University Degree in Agronomy or Agricultural Engineering with 3-5 years of professional experience
•    Experience with irrigation systems and soil fertility, fertilization and liming recommendations
•    Experience with environmental legislation (CETSB and MAPA) and effluent management
•    Knowledge of sugarcane cultivation and management nice to have
•    Advanced or fluent English
•    Good Communication and relationship skills 
•    Dynamism and agility to develop and commercialize new co-products
