Position Summary

Responsible for supervising the activities and coordinating personnel in the production, maintenance, storage, and utilities areas. Promote the implementation of EHS policies established by the website and corporation, as well as develop teams aligned with goals and policies. Manage mechanical, electrical and instrumentation maintenance activities, as well as create and manage the maintenance plan.


  • Manage a production team of approx. 60 people in a 24/7 operation with a busy and off season
  • Coordinate production operations in conjunction with purchasing, sales, engineering, maintenance, and other areas.
  • Ensure the safety, cleanliness and hygiene of the entire manufacturing area and the correct use of chemical products (inputs) in the process.
  • Relocate labor as needed.
  • Administer personnel ensuring attendance, performance, control of hours in accordance with current laws, replacement of personnel and vacation control.
  • Manage production as provided for in the business plan.
  • Meet the measurement and monitoring requirements specified in the plant's planning, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and municipal regulations in matters of Safety, Health and Environment.


  • 10 years of experience in manufacturing/production
  • Experience managing large teams
  • Technical experience with mass balance transfer, distillation towers
  • Knowledge in process safety (PSM).
  • Knowledge of the security management system (HSMS).
  • Knowledge in risk study (What if, HAZOP and LOPA)
  • Intermediate knowledge of maintenance
  • Advanced knowledge of plant unit operations
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Fluent English
