Position Summary

JM Huber is seeking a CDL Driver at Active Minerals International, an Attapulgite Clay production facility in Quincy FL / Climax GA.

CDL Driver: Bulk Truck hauling of non-hazardous material between Climax GA to Quincy FL. Local route; home daily. Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License required.

2nd Shift: 5pm - 3am

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

Fully understand how to operate and safely drive your assigned vehicle
Drive vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) over 26,000 lbs.
Pick-up and safely transport non-hazardous goods to the intended destination
Ensure contents are properly secured within the truck
Stay on a predetermined route and ensure timely transport and delivery
Perform DOT inspections of your vehicle
Ensure your vehicle is kept clean at all times
Maintain and service vehicle as needed (refuel, change oil, tire pressure, repairs, etc.)
Notify managers of any major maintenance or delivery issues encountered
Maintain detailed driving and delivery logs
Track and report working hours
Assist with bulk loading and/or transloading process when required
Adhere to company rules and regulations
Obey all applicable traffic laws and drive in according to the weather/road conditions
Comply with ICC and DOT regulations
Make safety a priority at all times

Specialized/Technical Knowledge or Required Skills

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) required
2 years of proven commercial CDL experience preferred
Clean driving record with no moving violations
Must pass a background check and DOT drug test / physical
Skilled at driving and parking large, heavy vehicles
Alert, focused, and detail-oriented
Self-starter who works well independently
Disciplined, dependable, and resourceful

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Possess great physical stamina and focus

Any offered salary is determined based on relevant factors such as an applicant's skills, performance, job responsibilities, prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications and market considerations.

U.S. Market-Based Salary Range
CDL Driver	[$26.58 - $27.98]

In addition to base compensation, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and profit-sharing payout.
