Position Summary
Completes quality testing of material produced and provides finished test data to Quality Manager. Ensures data information is consistent and accurate for both in process and finished products and ensures products meets or exceeds Product standards and customer requirements. Will act as a backup across the Quality team to help advance projects as assigned as well as be the primary responsible person for training. This is a first shift position.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities
The individual is responsible for maintaining compliance with the Mandatory Standards and Requirements (MMSRs) within their sphere of influence. In addition, compliance with all FDA, OSHA, EPA, and MSHA regulatory agencies is required. Responsible for bringing all environmental, health and safety and/or quality incidents or concerns to management for resolution.

Specialized/Technical Knowledge or Required Skills
|
1. Education – Collage degree in science, chemistry, or math preferred but may be waved based on the job related experience. A high school diploma or GED is required. |

2. Able to read and comprehend Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), Safety and Health manuals and procedures, and Quality Control terminology (i.e. units of measure, etc.). and be able to successfully support and train quality staff as needed. |

3. Must be able to perform and understand basic mathematical calculations and basic statistics. |
|
4. Must act and work in a safe and healthy manner in both the laboratory and plant environments. The individual must learn and observe all applicable company policies and safe practices and perform all duties assigned by supervisors or other members of management. |

5. Must have advanced knowledge of computers. |
|
6. Must have good overall communication skills with employees at all levels of the organization. 7. More than 5 years of lab experience required, this may be from within Huber or documented from previous employment. 8. Must have through knowledge of testing methods and be able to successfully support and train quality staff ass needed.

Physical Requirements
Individual works mostly in a climate-controlled office and laboratory environment. Exposure to chemicals, light, noises and dusts. Will be required to lift 60 pounds, stand for extended period of time and work in cold or hot environments. This position requires multitasking, often with limited supervision and time limitations on all activities, which may be stressful.

In addition to base compensation, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and profit-sharing payout.
