Purpose of Job:

 

The Digital Marketing Specialist plays a pivotal role that blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution across content marketing, web and SEO performance, marketing automation, lead generation, and digital campaign management.

 

This role is responsible for developing and executing digital content strategies across multiple channels—including websites, social media, email/marketing automation, and search engines such as Google. The Specialist oversees website functionality and content strategy to ensure alignment with HAS and its go-to-market brands (Biolchim, Miller, Cifo, Ilsa, etc.), maintaining brand consistency and driving user engagement to generate qualified leads.

 

In addition, the Digital Marketing Specialist manages email marketing initiatives and marketing automation workflows, contributing to the broader Marketing Communications strategy. The role also includes social listening, coordination (including through external agencies), moderation, user engagement, and response management across digital channels. Any critical issues are escalated to appropriate internal stakeholders.

 

Working in a dynamic, international environment, this individual will play a key role in strengthening our digital presence and supporting business growth across diverse global markets.

 

Main Responsibilities:

 

  • Collaborate with the EMEA/APAC Marketing Communications Manager and Marketing Communication Specialists to plan digital media buys for national and regional ad placements, primarily in EMEA/APAC.
  • Work closely with the MarCom team and regional stakeholders to plan and launch integrated campaigns at both EMEA and APAC levels.
  • Develop and implement digital marketing strategies across key channels: websites, social media, search engines, email marketing, and marketing automation platforms.
  • Develop monthly digital content/editorial calendars and oversee the strategy and execution of digital content marketing across various channels. Drive engagement with the target audience and generate quality leads by collaborating with relevant stakeholders.
  • Manage website(s) to align with SEO objectives, making and implementing key recommendations for content, messaging, and other factors to improve SEO performance, ensuring alignment with brand positioning, and lead generation goals.
  • Manage and optimize email marketing and automation workflows, integrating digital activities with CRM objectives and sales priorities.
  • Build and manage audience segments to tailor content for different profiles (e.g. crop solutions, biostimulants, adjuvants, fertilizers, organic compliance).
  • Identify opportunities to enhance lead generation through digital efforts and lead thought leadership on improving user experience/customer experience from a digital perspective.
  • Design and execute paid media strategies, including SEM (Google Ads) and paid social campaigns, to enhance traffic, brand awareness, and lead quality.
  • Monitor digital performance through key performance indicators (KPI), generating timely reports on metrics including website and campaign performance, lead generation, etc., using analytics tools (Google Analytics, dashboard tools, etc.). Continuously seek opportunities to improve performance through testing and new initiatives.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in digital marketing tools, trends, and innovations; train and support colleagues where needed.
  • Contribute to global marketing initiatives and support PR/editorial content amplification through digital platforms. Lead digital social listening efforts, engaging with users across platforms and escalating issues appropriately.

 

Requirements & Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, Media Studies, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in digital marketing, preferably within a B2B or technical sector.
  • Demonstrated success in managing SEO/SEM, website optimization, and content strategy initiatives.
  • Solid hands-on experience with CRM systems and marketing automation platforms.
  • Experience in international/global roles, and working across culturally diverse teams, is a plus.
  • Proven ability to manage web production processes and workflows from end to end.
  • Skilled in A/B testing to optimize digital and web content performance.
  • Actively engaged in social media, with experience managing activities such as blogging, community development, and platform management.
  • Understanding of major social media platforms, including their design, functionality, and user base.
  • Highly adaptable and agile, with a track record of thriving in fast-paced, constantly evolving environments.
  • Strong conceptual thinking and problem-solving skills, with a resourceful, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Effective team player with the ability to collaborate across functions within a culturally diverse, global organization.
