Purpose of Job:
The HR Generalist plays a key role in supporting and executing core people management and development processes. This position combines operational HR responsibilities with organizational development initiatives, contributing to recruitment, training, employee engagement, and the implementation of corporate HR processes. The role works closely with HR Business Partners, managers, and employees, ensuring alignment with corporate guidelines and policies.
The position is based in the Bologna area, with the main work location in San Giorgio di Piano and weekly presence required in Medicina. On-site presence is also required at least once per month at the Arzignano (VI) plant.
Main Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be involved in a broad range of HR activities, with a particular focus on recruitment, training, and organizational development.
- Manage the full recruitment cycle for blue-collar workers and junior white-collar employees, from sourcing and vacancy advertising to interview coordination, while managing relationships with external partners such as staffing agencies.
- Support HR Business Partners and the Talent Acquisition team in recruitment processes for senior professionals, middle management, and higher-level positions.
- Support onboarding activities, ensuring an effective integration of new hires and contributing to the continuous improvement of the employee onboarding experience.
- Identify training needs, contribute to the development of local annual training plans, and coordinate learning activities in collaboration with internal stakeholders, Centers of Excellence, and external providers.
- Manage training operations, including scheduling, logistics, attendance tracking, reporting, and the administration of available training funds (e.g., Fondimpresa and Fondirigenti).
- Act as a point of contact for employees and managers, providing HR support, gathering needs, and identifying opportunities to improve the employee experience and work environment.
- Support employee engagement initiatives by coordinating surveys, analyzing feedback, and contributing to the definition and implementation of related action plans.
- Contribute to the implementation of corporate HR processes and projects, including performance appraisal cycles, local and global initiatives, and internal training activities.
- Build and maintain relationships with universities, training institutions, and external partners, supporting employer branding initiatives and internship/traineeship programs.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Degree in Psychology, Educational Sciences, Human Resources, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in HR roles within structured organizations.
- Experience in recruitment, training, and core HR processes, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Strong organizational skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to build positive and collaborative relationships.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees, managers, and external partners.
- Interest in people development, employee engagement, and organizational improvement processes.
- Fluent in Italian and English.
- Availability for occasional international travel, if required.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Permanent Contract
- Annual Fixed Salary: €33,800 – €44,000 (depending on experience and qualifications)
- Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL): Industria Chimica – Chimico Farmaceutica
