Purpose of Job:
Lead end-to-end logistics operations across Huber AgroSolutions in EMEA and APAC, ensuring cost efficiency, service excellence and alignment with business priorities.
Drive operational performance, strategic logistics initiatives and the implementation of advanced logistics solutions, including Oracle Transportation Management (OTM), to support business growth and customer satisfaction. This role is part of a global logistics team focused on functional excellence.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end logistics operations across Europe, EMEA and APAC, ensuring efficient, reliable and cost-effective transport, warehousing and distribution.
- Drive logistics performance by monitoring KPIs, improving service levels, OTIF, lead times and operational efficiency.
- Partner with Customer Service, Sales, Planning and Operations to align logistics execution with business priorities and customer expectations.
- Own the logistics budget and identify opportunities to optimize transport networks, warehousing, carrier performance and overall logistics costs.
- Build and manage strong relationships with logistics providers and 3PL partners, driving service excellence and continuous improvement.
- Lead strategic logistics projects, including network optimization, warehouse initiatives and the implementation and ongoing development of Oracle Transportation Management (OTM).
- Ensure compliance with transport, customs, trade, hazardous materials and HSE regulations while proactively managing operational risks and business continuity.
- Champion process standardization, digital transformation and continuous improvement to enhance visibility, efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably within an international or Italian-based company.
- Strong knowledge of logistics software, ERP systems and industry best practices. Experience with Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) and Oracle ERP is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of European transport laws, customs regulations and supply chain dynamics.
- Fluent in Italian and English (written and spoken).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Proven leadership experience and the ability to manage teams and external logistics partners.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with a strong focus on continuous improvement.
