Position Summary
The Process Manager of Supply Chain Planning is responsible for supporting the transformation and maturation of Huber Engineered Materials’ (HEM) Supply Chain Planning processes globally. This role will focus on driving continuous improvement in Supply Planning and Production Scheduling across all HEM businesses that are on Oracle Supply Chain Planning Cloud (total of 10 manufacturing sites across the globe). This role will also support the expansion of Oracle Supply Chain Planning Cloud throughout HEM; ensuring adherence to global standards, implementing change management and communication plans, and providing training and education. While the primary focus is on Supply Planning and Production Scheduling, this role will need to have a strong understanding of broader Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes such as Product Management Reviews, Demand Planning, Financial Forecasting, and Management Business Reviews, to provide well balanced recommendations and support the broader planning organization.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
- Primary point of contact for Supply Planners (Production, Purchasing, and Re-supply Planners), Production Schedulers, and cross-functional stakeholders regarding Supply Planning processes. Currently, there are 17 production planners, 9 buyers, and 3 re-supply planners globally
- Regularly evaluate the health of the supply plan within Oracle Supply Chain Planning Cloud, ensuring it aligns with broader business processes, including Demand Planning, IBP, and execution
- Lead projects to strengthen user engagement with Oracle Supply Chain Planning Cloud solutions and the Integrated Business Planning process
- Provide guidance and recommendations with an appropriate balance between best practice and applicability at HEM
- Identify knowledge gaps and coordinate training programs for Supply Chain teams, leveraging external partners such as Gartner, Oliver Wight, or ASCM when appropriate
- Oversee the accuracy of master data used in Supply Planning processes globally
- Build and manage a network of subject matter experts across Supply Chain Planning and third party partners to drive collaboration as well as technology and process enhancements globally
- Oversee the engagement and effectiveness of Supply Chain Planning processes, ensuring planners adhere to standards and optimize Oracle Supply Chain Planning Cloud solutions
- Manage the development and implementation of best practices and standards, ensuring a consistent approach to Supply Chain Planning across all functions and businesses
- Support future business needs to drive Supply Chain excellence
- Identify areas for improvement and provide training and education to close knowledge gaps
- Monitor and ensure the accuracy and maintenance of master data, working closely with global teams to address issues and improve data quality
- Change management. This role works cross-functionally and will need to influence and balance the various functional goals while implementing business process improvements and new tools
- This role will influence team members without direct management responsibility
- Establish workflow procedures and metrics to ensure sustainability of Supply Chain Planning processes
- Address and resolve planning challenges by collaborating with key internal and external partners
Key Competencies

- Subject Matter expertise in Supply Planning, Detailed Scheduling, and Inventory Management processes
- Strong understanding of broader Supply Chain processes such as Demand Planning, Financial Forecasting, and Sales and Operations Planning / Integrated Business Planning
- Cross-functional knowledge throughout the supply chain (manufacturing, distribution, planning, sourcing and supply, transportation) including demonstrated knowledge of financial metrics and drivers
- Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and resolve root causes of data inaccuracies
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in Supply Planning or Production Scheduling / Finite Scheduling
- ASCM – CPIM certification preferred or willingness to achieve within one year
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or equivalent education.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a detail-oriented mindset, the ability to prioritize tasks, and a strong sense of urgency to meet deadlines
- MRP Experience required; Oracle Supply Chain Planning Cloud experience preferred
- High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant software
- Strong skills in meeting facilitation and effective communication with stakeholders at all levels
- Proven ability to work as a change agent with a strong business acumen and ability to navigate ambiguity
- High level of integrity, trustworthiness, and the ability to lead by example
